What we collect

Merchant account details (name, email, hashed password), store configuration, and order data that shoppers provide at checkout (name, email, shipping address, optional phone). Card details are collected by Stripe, not by ModernShop.

How we use it

To operate stores, process and fulfill orders, send transactional emails, prevent fraud and abuse, and provide support. Marketing emails are only sent by merchants to shoppers who opted in at checkout.

Service providers

Hosting (Vercel), database hosting, Stripe (payments), an email delivery provider, and — only when a merchant uses AI features — an AI model provider, which receives the product facts or aggregate store metrics needed to answer.

Your choices

Shoppers can contact the store to access, correct or delete their information. Merchants can export customer data from the admin.

We use strictly necessary cookies for sign-in sessions and shopping bags. Saved items are stored only in your browser.
