1. The service

ModernShop provides software that lets merchants operate online stores. Merchants are the sellers of record for their products and are responsible for their listings, fulfillment, customer service, refunds and compliance with applicable laws, including consumer protection, privacy, anti-spam (CASL) and tax obligations.

2. Payments

Card payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's own terms. ModernShop does not hold merchant funds. Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to sell illegal or prohibited goods, to send unsolicited messages, or to attempt to access data belonging to other merchants.

4. Data

You own your store data and may export it at any time. See the Privacy Policy for how personal information is handled.

5. Availability and liability

The service is provided on a commercially reasonable basis. Service levels, limitations of liability and governing law must be specified by the operator.
